Summer has arrived!!

Sunday saw a monthly medal being held on both courses. On the main course despite it being rearranged late we had 16 players (Our best yet) competing in the May Monthly Medal. Scoring was excellent and was won by Will Hobbs with a superb net 65 followed by three players on net 68 with Sam Collard beating Chris Coles and Tom Maggs for second place,

On the exec course 6 players enjoyed the sun with Josh Higgs winning with an excellent net 43, with Harry Parfitt and Toby Webb into second and third places respectively.

We are very pleased to be informed that Farrington has been selected as one of the 6 clubs whose Junior Open (Sept 1 2008) will be included in the prestigious Somerset Golf Union Order of Merit

Ali Comps have started again. A competition will be held on the first Sunday in the month for all players of any standard. Come along and join in. The next competition will be Sunday 4th May.

Well done to Ben Davis who won the Somerset Golf Union Under 14's competition held at Wells on Fri 11 April. Fantastic!
